Highway 71 Storage started because Cedar Creek needed somewhere decent to put things. Folks were driving to Austin or Bastrop to rent a unit in a yard nobody maintained, from a company nobody could reach. We built the kind of place we'd want to use — tan metal buildings, wide gravel lanes, doors that roll like they should.
Two decades later, it's still the same family, and largely the same people servicing the property. That continuity is the whole product. They know which unit floods after a hard rain (none, and we intend to keep it that way), which latch needs oil, and which tenant is going through a move they didn't plan for.
We also run the RV park down the road, so we understand the whole picture — the trailer or boat that needs parking, the household in transition, the contractor who needs materials close to the job.
